Over 30 years of experience in Hospitality Risk Control and Safety for some
of the most well known hotel and casino companies in the world has provided me with the knowledge to provide expert testimony or opinion in legal actions involving plaintiff or defendant guest incident and injury
cases in the areas of premise liability, security, food safety and employee training,
I will help you establish the existence or nonexistence of a condition,
situation, procedure, program or protocol that has bearing on the circumstance in question. I will provide an opinion, based

Jerry's Safety/Risk Control experience
covers both domestic and international venues to include United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bermuda, Puerto Rico and
Canada.
Jerry was the Director of Risk
Control for a Fortune 500 hospitality and entertainment company from 2000 - 2007. Other
positions held include, Senior Manager Risk Control for a national hotel owner, operator and franchisor (1994 – 2000),
Loss Prevention Consultant for the hospitality industry (1990 – 1994), and several positions with a premier international
hotel company to include Manager of Loss Control for a large convention hotel, Corporate Safety Auditor and Trainer (1977
– 1990)
Jerry is an accomplished facilitator and lecturer and has conducted hundreds
of seminars and workshops on risk control and safety for hotel associations, insurance groups, individual hotels and casinos,
Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and several professional organizations. His exuberant and informative presentations have been credited for clarifying the arcane subject of risk
control and safety and motivating attendees to achieve new levels of loss prevention success.
Jerry is past chairman of the American Hotel and Lodging Associations Loss Prevention Committee.. He has served on several committees, which have collaborated on various hospitability oriented safety and
security training videos and accreditation courses including The Education Institute of AH&LA’s Hospitality /Security
Certification Program, Hotel Fire Alert video and Awareness Training for Housekeepers videos.
Jerry also consults with industry vendors who specialize in training and safety and risk control products.
His professional accreditations include: Associate Risk Management, Accredited Safety
Auditor, Associated Loss Control Management, Certified Lodging Security Director, Certified Food Safety Inspector, and licensed
ServSafe Trainer.
He has authored articles
for Risk Management magazine and the Security and Safety Newsletter, Hospitality
Lawyer Newsletter, various professional organization newsletters and published a white paper titled Toward Control
of Employee Injuries in the Hospitality Industry, which defined how to objectively measure management safety behavior
and its impact on accident reduction.
